NeoClone has hired Dr. Michael Zwick as its VP of Business Development. Dr. Zwick has a very strong background in the commercial applications of Molecular Biology, Protein Expression and Purification and Immunoassay Development. He was formerly responsible for Research and Development activities at IMMCO Diagnostics, an autoimmune diagnostics company in Buffalo, NY. He joined IMMCO in November of 2002 and built the R&D department to be a fully integrated organization with expertise in Molecular Biology, Protein Expression and Purification and Immunoassay Development. Prior to IMMCO, Dr. Zwick was also Chief Technology Officer with Medic Group of Jackson, Wisconsin, a diagnostics company developing Point-of-Care cancer tests for detection of tumor markers in saliva. Prior to Medic, he was Technology Manager of Proteomics at Promega Corporation, a major research reagent company, responsible for the protein expression and detection area. He was also with Ribozyme Pharmaceuticals, a Boulder, CO platform technology company. Dr. Zwick has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology from Colorado State University and an MBA from the University of Colorado, with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship.
